Kalahrod village have a cave named is chavazme or chahvazme so cave of kalahrod.
The cave's opening faces the south at an elevation of 1450 m. It appears that the cave was formed after water penetrated the rocks when the river was at least 50 m higher than its current level. The opening of the cave is a gallery with a low ceiling. Once inside, the diameter of the cave varies between 4 to 20 m. At times the path turns so steep that it resembles a cliff. Six meters into the cave, we reached a small, oval chamber with a width of 30 to 40 and a height of 6 m. This chamber leads to a larger one (30-50 m wide), which is the biggest space inside the cave. It also offers the most striking view to the visitor. The walls of this hall are covered with pearls and the ground with grape bunches of stalagmites. A small pond adds to the beauty of the hall.
To the right of the larger hall, is an area with a concave, short ceiling. This is the final section of the cave. At the center of this space is a small square 6 m square in area. In the middle of this square a pit had been dug, supposedly to light fire. Near this square is a water well, the only one inside the cave. The opening of this well is 2 m in diameter and 5 m in depth. This space was possibly used for short stays by shelter-seekers. From the right of this space, two passageways branched off, one of which goes to the depths of the cave and is a waterway. The other passageway leads back to the opening of the cave with in steep slope. Together, the passageways of this cave are1200 meters long. The lowest part of the cave is at the end of it, which is 50 m lower than the opening.
